Black Women in Business (BWIB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our headquarters is located in Austin, Texas with chapters located in San Antonio, Killeen, Dallas, Manor, San Marcos, Texas City, Waco and Houston. Black Women in Business was created to educate, encourage, empower and help businesswomen succeed by hosting monthly meetings, workshops, special events! Also, we partner with local businesses, organizations and other groups to serve our community! 

On March 16th, the BWIB headquarters remained open Monday through Saturday to provide Travis County seniors, residents with disabilities and families with free food and essentials. To date we have served over 1200 households, in conjunction with the 750 prepared meals that are provided on a weekly basis. 

Additionally, the seamstresses in our organization have provided over 500 handmade masks to Travis County Constable Precinct 1, healthcare professionals and essential workers. 

BWIB understands the importance of working the front lines; therefore, we are pleased to introduce the #HonorAHealthCareHero appreciation drive! The purpose of the drive is to highlight their sacrifice and dedication to those who have been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage you to help us honor the amazing men and women in your medical facility by purchasing an appreciation gift basket for only $75.00 from July 1st through July 22, 2020! Each basket will include a mixture of , snacks, candies, health and wellness products and other premium items designed to help pamper, relax and inspire!  All baskets will be delivered during the week of August 10th through August 14th!
