On a bi-weekly basis Black Women In Business and Black Men In Business will collectively support a Black Owned brick and mortar restaurant, food truck or lounge.  On the second Monday of each month we will host a happy hour and on the fourth Thursday of every month we will host a community dinner at a Black Owned Business (BOB).  Attendees will be able to register in advance to ensure that the business is ready for the rush. We will track the amount of Black dollars spent and publish a running total throughout the year.  For our community dinner, participants will be able to pay it forward for a college student.  The goal will be to introduce students to entrepreneurship, connect them to community and encourage them to support BOBs.  By including students in the tour, our hope is to provide reasons for them to stay in Austin after graduation and help Increase our Black population.
